Kansas City, Missouri
This initiative is Kansas City's largest green infrastructure project to date, and represents a strategic opportunity to address the community's stormwater needs while also enhancing use of existing parks and open space areas.
In collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, we are exploring a variety of solutions to address existing area flooding and combined sewer overflows through the introduction of contructed wetlands, bioswales, raingardens, restoration of native habitat, and other stormwater mitigation measures. These renderings represent a collection of conceptual ideas our team is exploring, including the potential to create new trails for community connectivity and new park amenities integrated into the design of these green infrastructure features.
