Confluence led a collaborative design process for all public realm plazas, parks, open spaces and green infrastructure for the most sustainable development in Minnesota’s history.
The fabric of this 120+ acre mixed-use development is stitched together with over 55 acres of green space, bike and pedestrian paths, green infrastructure elements, and recreation facilities. Our team developed a network of landscape spaces that provide environmental, economic and social benefits to the new development and surrounding neighborhoods.
Native vegetation, bioengineering, advanced green infrastructure, native limestone reuse, and water are the primary building blocks of the innovative landscape.
