This comprehensive plan created a vision and guide to manage development in one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States.
Confluence is helping the City of Ankeny to manage future growth and development in their community, which has experienced record-breaking population gains. The future needs of the community were determined through a robust public engagement strategy that included meetings with an advisory committee, sharing information through a project website, facilitating multiple public workshops, and utilizing booths at several special events to obtain numerous stakeholder interviews.
The final plan outlined a set of priorities and implementable strategies for the City to accomplish, many of which have already been initiated. These include a Subdivision and Zoning Code Update and a new Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
