This new monumental sculpture stands 70 feet tall and 240 feet wide above the Big Sioux River, creating an artistic attraction for residents and visitors.
SculptureWalk selected Confluence to provide design services for site placement and donor recognition associated with a monumental sculpture project spanning the Big Sioux River and greenway in Downtown Sioux Falls. The Arc of Dreams was designed by South Dakota’s Artist Laureate, Dale Lamphere. A small plaza was created at the base of each of the two sculpture segments, one at Cherapa Place on the east bank and the other at Raven Industries Corporate Office.
In addition to the plaza spaces, our team was also responsible for creating fundraising graphics, site selection for placement of the sculpture, project permitting leadership, and coordination of easements and utilities. The 18’ gap at the center of the arc represents the leap of faith all dreamers must take before their dreams can come true.
