Kansas City, Missouri
Crafted to guide future campus growth and enhancement, the Master Plan outlines both short-term and long-term improvements.
As part of this effort, Confluence created entitlement submittal documents to rezone the entire campus to a unique MPD district - simplifying procedural reviews of future development plans associated with campus growth. The plan includes the addition of new education facilities, improved site access, integrated stormwater enhancement, and improved campus wayfinding and identity.
Our team has also been instrumental in several master plan implementation projects. These include a new primary campus identification sign supporting KCU's new brand, campus expansion through new property acquisition, construction of a new $35M Center for Medical Education and Innovation facility adjacent new campus quad space, and planning for a regional stormwater treatment feature (in partnership with the City) to remove the entire campus from the City's combined sewer overflow system.
