Denver, Colorado
Our team developed a revised Master Plan for the complex that included a significantly modified strategy for future growth and development - crafting an activated, dynamic and engaged pedestrian-friendly core to serve as the heart of this complex.
The complex is anticipated to become a year-round destination supported by out-of-state tourism and increased local visitation that will secure and grow the next 100 years of the National Western Stock Show - Colorado's largest agriculture convention. Through extensive public-private partnerships, this plan brings together agriculture, education, entertainment, outdoor recreation and Colorado's western heritage in one location, and positions Denver as a global player in addressing 21st century agricultural issues.
The plan also calls for more than six acres of revitalized riverfront access and over 20 acres of pedestrian plazas and flexible use stockyards throughout the complex, while also strengthening connectivity to nearby neighborhoods through multi-modal pathways.
