"Their vision, creativity, and outside the box concepts have really help us be successful in transforming this property. Confluence has been nothing short of an asset to our redevelopment team."

This trio of existing office buildings was acquired with the intent to update the property to retain and attract tenants - providing a fresh new look and a competitive site amenities package.
Given its dated interior and bleak existing concrete plaza space, the new owners engaged our team to reimagine the pedestrian plaza space and to transform the roofscape and site entry to create a greater sense of identity. The design program involved replacing gray with green, crafting an active oasis with a variety of spatial and social environments.
The informal language of arcs and tangents are weaved together by a striated carpet of paving. At the center of the space is a series of garden rooms that create a sense of decompression, leading the user to two plaza spaces. The west plaza is active and adjacent to the complex’s cafe space - featuring an elevated “porch” overlooking game tables, a media wall, a grill area, fire pits, outdoor work stations, an array of seating, and an overhead canopy of string lights. The east plaza is decidedly more passive, with a large multi-use lawn space dotted with chaise lounges and Adirondack chairs.
