This new high-rise mixed-use building in Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood integrates two rooftop amenity spaces to serve hotel patrons and luxury apartment residents.
Our team was engaged to work collaboratively with the architects to design the outdoor spaces on five levels of the building. Located above the hotel ballroom, the 3rd floor's 30,000+sf amenity area is Chicago's largest flexible use rooftop space - featuring an artificial turf lawn that can accommodate tents for special events like weddings and receptions. This space is also available for yard games and other daily uses, with a yoga terrace, two outdoor bars, and lounge seating areas also provided.
A landscaped terrace is also integrated on the 5th floor for the exclusive use of hotel guests, and the 17th floor contains a shared amenity deck level with a swimming pool and outdoor terrace for shared use by residents and hotel guests. the 18th and 49th floors also provide residents with access to additional terraces where they can enjoy sunbathing and spectacular views of Lake Michigan and the fireworks at Navy Pier.
