This 300-acre site was master planned for hotel, condo units, and single family homes, bringing a village to this long-established ski area.
Our team developed a master plan for the 300-acre site which includes approximately 200-acres of land to be traded to the National Forest Service. The project included an entry experience, 212 hotel units, 770 condo units, 624 twelve-plex units and 105 single family lots. The project involved minimizing impacts to wildlife habitat and wetlands while accommodating the site development program.
Our team participated in design charrettes with the client and consultant team to develop master plan alternatives and project phasing strategies. Alternative road alignments were studied to minimize environmental impacts and future construction costs. We also developed three-dimensional massing models to illustrate how site grading concepts integrated with existing sloped terrain.
