Serving as a legacy garden for Marsha Paladino, this renovated space is designed for community use, expanded display of public art, and to accommodate additional event programming.
Located adjacent to the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science in Downtown Sioux Falls, this garden space was kept locked and primarily unaccessible to the public prior to this renovation. Confluence worked collaboratively with the Donor and representatives from the Washington Arts Facility and the City of Sioux Falls to develop a master plan and a new vision for this garden.
The project improved the overall functionality and accessibility of the space, which has resulted in increased community use and visibility. The sculpture collection was expanded and integrated into the new garden configuration while also incorporating additional amenities to welcome visitors.
This renovated garden is now utilized year-round and has become a valuable public space within Downtown Sioux Falls.
