This new 11th-floor rooftop garden terrace serves as the outdoor component of the building's tenant amenity floor, which includes an indoor bar and lounge areas.
Our team served as the design lead for the roof garden while working collaboratively with the architect and structural engineers to respond to project goals, program requirements, and structural constraints. This new garden provides tenants and visitors with a central lawn space, garden areas, and hardscape design of integrated steps and ramps to access a level above the building parapet to provide unparalleled views of Millennium and Grant Parks and Lake Michigan.
This striking roof garden has contributed greatly to the transformation required to keep this 1950s-era property competitive in the contemporary office rental market.
