Monday, November 19, 2018

We are excited to announce that Madison Dierks has joined the Confluence team!

Madison Dierks is a Des Moines, Iowa native and graduated from Iowa State University with a double major in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Studies. After graduation, Madison continued her education at Justus Liebig Universität in Giessen, Germany. Her love for landscape came when she realized how integral it is to her everyday life and how it can bring people together in a plethora of ways.

Madison spent a year living in Germany as a cultural ambassador and fellow with the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals. During her time there, she learned a lot about different cultures and how landscape can influence a culture. The experience allowed her to observe the German landscape and analyze how it’s different from the landscape in the United States.

In her free time, Madison enjoys writing, cooking, speaking German and making music. She can be found performing improv comedy, exploring and creating new things.
