On Wednesday, July 7, Wilder Bluff Park officially opened to the public.
The occasion was marked with a ribbon cutting ceremony for the City of Shawnee, attended by our project team: SFS Architecture, Centric Build, STAND Structural Engineering, GBA, PKMR Engineers, and PSI Services.
Confluence worked with City staff to design park plan that utilized public engagement and preserved the natural environment of the site. Located in Northwest Shawnee, the park features a treetop playground, hillside slide, and a nature-themed sprayground. Additionally, the park also includes a patio overlook and shelter with a fireplace as well as a 1.38 mile walking trail.
