Friday, November 9th marked the Grand Opening of the Krause Gateway Center in Des Moines’ Western Gateway after three years of construction. The new building has generated a lot of excitement within the Des Moines’ community and is a striking addition to the city’s vibrant west end anchored by the Pappajohn Sculpture Park. Krause Gateway Center is the permanent home for the Kum & Go Corporation’s 300 associates as well as the Krause Family’s other businesses. In addition to flexible work environments, the new building houses a workout facility; a private art gallery; a terrace and a rooftop pavilion overlooking Iowa’s only short-grass prairie living roof. Confluence is grateful to have been a team member and design partner on this project since it’s conception.
Congratulations to the Krause Family, to Kum & Go Corporation and its dedicated associates, and to the numerous dedicated design professionals and contractors who made this project a reality.
